It is white granules or white powder , no efflorescence and no other smell. Its molecular formular is C12H22CaO14 H2O. It can be used as food additive, buffering agent and firming agent. As food additive, the serviceable range: 18-36g in cereal and cereal product, 4.5-9.0g in beverage and milk beverage. It also conforms with the requirements of FCC IV, USP24 and BP2002.
